🔶 Today, as part of the Housing Program, a meeting was held on the topic "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠."
Our guest was Mrs. Ganimete Musliu, Member of Parliament and Member of the Committee on Environment, Food, Agriculture, Planning, and Development.
🏗️ The meeting was attended by representatives of the Housing Program and residents from neighborhoods 028 and 029 in Fushë Kosovë. Mrs. Musliu was briefed on the program's achievements and challenges, including the complex processes of transforming these neighborhoods where Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities face a lack of basic services and difficulties in addressing property-related issues.
📝 The key condition for improving housing conditions remains the resolution of legal ownership, a process requiring institutional will and sustained commitment.
🗣️ During the discussion, Mrs. Musliu listened attentively to the residents’ requests and suggestions, fostering a fruitful and constructive debate. She assured the residents that she would be a strong advocate for their interests within Kosovo’s institutions, working to support the transformation of these neighborhoods and improve their living conditions.
🙌 We thank Mrs. Musliu for her participation and support, as well as all the attendees for their dedication to this vital process for the communities.
